Using cold forging technology, we produce cold forged parts from 50 grams to 1.5 kg on vertical presses of the capacity up to 1000 tons. Cold forging process also includes treatments like heat treatment, annealing and phosphating. The whole cold forging process is carried out in Iskra plant in Šempeter assuring stability and high quality standards in accordance with QS 9000 and ISO 14001 standards.
The range of products includes parts made of low-carbon, carbon and alloy steel and aluminium alloys. The main groups of produced cold forged parts are:

• Parts for starter motors (pinion, barrel, solenoid body, plunger, core..)
• Parts for alternators (claw pole..)
• Parts for switches, valves and other applications
• Parts for car seats
• Parts for ball joints
• Parts for flywheel magnetos and other motorbike parts
• Parts from aluminium alloys
• Different gears and other parts

Cold forged parts can be manufactured following the customer design, but upon request Iskra is also able to prepare its own design solutions. In R&D and Engineering division our experts will work out the most suitable solution for every customer's need.
The cold forged parts can also be finished by machining and by other treatments (sand blasting, surface coating, zinc-plating...); we shall always try to meet the customers' needs.
