The globalization process in which the
business world is involved at present, has originated a very dynamic environment,
also changing and extremely competitive. In order to face with success
these challenges, the company that wants to be competitive and offer better
services to their customers, must exploit their resources to
the maximum, controlling the tasks of each department and integrating
them in a global way, and as fast and efficiently as the market requires.

As stated in Iskra Avtoelektrika's Values and Commitment to Excellence,
our "raison d'être" is to satisfy and exceed our customers expectations. At Iskra Avtoelektrika we
believe firmly that our customers are the first assets for our company that
make us grow day by day. .
All our improvement efforts are governed by our constant desire for quality, as
expressed through customer satisfaction, optimization of our human resources and
consistent optimization and rationalization of our business processes. Through
regular customer surveys, we ensure that our greater focus on processes leads
to higher customer satisfaction.
Iskra Avtoelektrika has been active in the field of TQM and business excellence
for many years. An important step was taken in 1996 when it was decided to
introduce the model of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM),
enabling us to measure more objectively our progress on the path towards management
excellence. Self-assessment aims at involving the whole of the organization in
performance evaluation and the search for continuous improvement.
These efforts culminated in Slovenian Award for Business Excellence we were granted
in 2000. The Business Excellence Prize of the Republic of Slovenia is the highest
recognition given by the Republic of Slovenia within the national quality programme
for the achievements in the field of quality of products and services, as well as
the quality of business performance as a result of development of knowledge and
innovation.
Our commitment and vocation is to offer quality products together with professional
services with the highest level, capable of solving customers' needs effectively.
Furthermore, we believe that the products and the services we already offer and
those we plan to provide in the near future, will guarantee our growth. We would
therefore take this opportunity to thank all our customers for their confidence

Management System
Iskra Avtoelektrika commitment to quality leadership is founded upon our quality
policy and carried out through integrating quality in our management systems.
Our management systems are improved continuously. Our commitment is demonstrated
by the third-party certification to the ISO 9001:2000 and ISO/TS 16949 Quality System standards
and ISO 14001 Environment management standard. However, we continue to strive for perfection, so our management systems are
improved furtherly by incorporating elements of business excellence.
The Charter "COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE"
The Management Board of Iskra Avtoelektrika updated
the quality management policy and principles in 1999 with the intention to achieve
exceptional results in the ever-increasing global competition, rapid technological
innovations and constantly changing production processes. It was also the intention
to assure the growth of the corporation, to increase its competitiveness on international
markets and to improve its comparative advantages as well as the quality of products
and services. Later, also the human resource management strategy was adopted defining
the values and the ways that people at Iskra Avtoelektrika will have to follow to
achieve the desired corporation culture and strategic aims. The Management Board
upgraded the quality management principles and set out the essentials of excellence,
which they are included, together with the values, in the charter of "COMMITMENT TO
EXCELLENCE". At the internal conference "Business Excellence Day ", which was held on
March 2001, the charter was solemnly signed by the President of Management Board of
Iskra Avtoelektrika, the President of the Workers Council and the President of the
Labour Union executive committee.
We can state that the charter of "COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE" empowers our people and
unlocks the enormous value embodied in their talent, creativity and energy. As a
result, the employees have made the important transition from being actors to
factors in the Company's success. The natural consequence of employee empowerment
has been an increase in the productivity of the Company's human resources, and of
its operational and financial resources, as well.
