With new electronically controlled BLPM drive systems Iskra Avtoelektrika is increasingly taking part also in the field of devices that are intended for the disabled and the persons in need when coping with staircases.

For this purpose we developed:

o New electronically controlled BLPM drive system with electronic slope sensor to drive and control the slope of staircase wheelchairs.

o New electronically controlled BLPM drive system to drive staircase platforms for the transport of wheelchairs.

o New compact electronically controlled BLPM drive system to drive the staircase mounting wheelchairs intended for drawing the people on wheelchairs.

21.11.2005 - Rapid prototyping and short production runs of plastic parts by the technology of selective laser sintering – SLS

The use of 3D modelling and technologies of rapid prototyping is crucial for reducing the time from an idea to the serial production of new innovative products.

Iskra Avtoelektrika introduced a process of rapid prototyping of plastic parts based on the 3D modelling and technology of selective laser sintering. The final result is a completely functional product.

The unit for the SLS producer EOS type EOSINT P385 enables manufacture of plastic products of any shape and size up to 340mm X 340mm X 620mm with temperature resistant up to 120 degrees Celsius.

05.05.2005 - Liquid Cooled High Power Alternator

Iskra Avtoelektrika added a new product family of alternators, which is Liquid Cooled Alternators.

The current programme includes the following alternator families:

- LC – liquid cooled alternator
- Type LT 730 – dimensions dia 158mm, length 176mm, 14V output 90A at 1800RPM and 150A at 6000RPM
- Type LT 744 – dimensions dia 181mm, length 200mm, 14V output 120A at 1800RPM and 190A at 6000RPM

- LC / HP – liquid cooled high power alternator
- Type LD 850 – dimensions dia 190mm, length 270mm, 14V output 180A at 1400RPM and 320A at 6000RPM

Advantages of LC alternators:
· Noise reduction – no fans
· High durability
· Underhood temperature reduction
· Mounting flexibility – no air flow required
· Rotor inertia limits
· High idle output – magnets between the claw poles
· Minimal packaging space
· Higher efficiency
· Mass reduction
· Quicker warm up of engine

· Output insensitive to ambient temperature

Applications:
· For passenger - luxury cars with high demand of electrical energy. Existing applications for Bentley, Mercedes, VW, Porsche, Audi, Fiat,…
· For applications in difficult ambient environments – off road machinery for example: loaders, diggers, combines…
· For road or off road applications with high electrical demands as busses, trucks, luxury tractors...
· For marine applications.

The necessary changes for new applications:
· To ensure the flow of liquid cooler (50% water + 50% glycol)
· Additional liquid cooler necessary, approximately 240cc
· Adjustment of alternator support on the engine

STARTER MOTORS WITH REDUCTION GEAR AND PERMANENT MAGNETS

These are automotive starter motors for starting petrol engines in passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.

The advantages of these starters are compact dimensions, high specific power output and high efficiency resulting in excellent cold crank of the engine. Nose-less version is available for specific design of some engines.

APPLICATIONS

Starter motor for petrol engines from 1,4 to 2,5-litre of capacity.

Yoke diameter 70 mm. Weight 2,8 kg.
